ABOUT

XAgent is an open research community founded by students at Tsinghua University. Our work centers around building next-generation AI agent systems based on large language models. We aim to employ LLMs as central controllers to construct autonomous agents to obtain human-like decision-making capabilities.

The pursuit of creating intelligent and autonomous agents that can accomplish complex tasks through self-directed planning and actions has long been a cornerstone in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). Recently, the emergence of large language models (LLMs), characterized by significantly improved capabilities, has rendered autonomous agents practicable. Based on the capabilities of LLMs, agents can make more effective decisions and execute efficient actions to accomplish tasks with an unprecedented degree of autonomy.
